چکیده
Geopolymer concrete, also known as an earth-friendly has been under continuous study due to its environmental benefits and a sustainable alternative conventional concrete construction. The supplies of many source materials, such fly ash (FA) or slag (SG), produce geopolymer (GPC) may be limited; however, quarry rock dust (QRD) wastes (limestone, dolomite, silica powders) formed by crushing rocks appear virtually endless. Although significant experimental research carried out on GPC, with major focus the mix design development, rheological, durability, mechanical properties GPC mixes; still information available structural behavior is rather limited. This implications in extending application from laboratory-based technology at-site product. investigates quarry-rock-dust-incorporated fiber-reinforced columns concentric eccentric loading. In this study, total 20 200 mm square cross-section 1000 height were tested. FA SG used materials mixtures. QRD was incorporated partial replacement (20%) SG. (CC) prepared reference specimens. effect incorporating SG, steel fibers, loading conditions (concentric loading) studied. test results revealed that adequate material can manufacture members satisfactory performance. general performance observed similar (without QRD) CC columns. addition fibers considerably improves capacity, ductility, axial load–displacement tested load capacities about 5–7% greater comparison spalling cover at failure detected all plain columns, whereas mode characterized surface cracking leading disintegration cover.

Numerical and Experimental Investigations on the Behavior of Steel-reinforced Concrete Columns Subjected to Eccentric Loading
Steel-reinforced concrete (SRC) columns, which are classified as composite columns, became the most widely used in recent years; because of their extensive advantages over the reinforced concrete and the steel columns. In this paper, the ductility index and its influential factors were explored to investigate the behavior of SRC columns. A straightforward approach was then proposed by establish...
متن کاملALKALI Activated FLY-ASH Based Geopolymer Concrete
Considering the increasing demand for developing alternative construction materials, due to the growing environmental concerns, this paper discusses the feasibility of alkali activated geo-polymer concrete, as a future construction material. The main objective of this study involves observation of structural behaviours of the fresh fly ash-based geo-polymer concrete, understanding the basic mix...
متن کاملTime-Dependent Behavior of Reinforced Polymer Concrete Columns under Eccentric Axial Loading
Polymer concretes (PCs) represent a promising alternative to traditional cementitious materials in the field of new construction. In fact, PCs exhibit high compressive strength and ultimate compressive strain values, as well as good chemical resistance. Within the context of these benefits, this paper presents a study on the time-dependent behavior of polymer concrete columns reinforced with di...
متن کاملBehaviour of eccentric loading of FRP confined fibre steel reinforced concrete columns
This paper presents results of testing 16 specimens, 12 of which as columns under different eccentricities and four as beams under four point loading regime. All 16 specimens were circular in cross section and were made of reinforced concrete. Four specimens served as reference specimens and were just made of reinforced concrete. The next four specimens were wrapped with Carbon Fibre Reinforced...
